Seminar 4.1: Project Selection Committee Simulation
Seminar Content
- Students become familiarised with the project selection criteria of different EU programs
- Students will receive projects developed by co-students
- Students will evaluate the projects of co-students based on relevant criteria and provide feedback
- Students will receive mentoring for the evaluation.
- Students will receive feedback on the evaluation.
By the end of the seminar, you
- are able to evaluate information provided in EU project applications.
- are able to formulate feedback on EU project applications.
- are able to rate EU project applications.
Teaching and learning methods
The following teaching and learning methods will be used: lecture, small group and partner work, discussion, self-study, feedback.

Seminar 4.2: Applied and Reflected Knowledge
Seminar content
Students must submit a written thesis of 20 – 30 pages (around 7000 words) and do an oral presentation. The written thesis can be worked out alone or in a small student group. The individual part of each student must be clearly marked in the document.
The written thesis shall be based on the knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the modules. The student can develop a project plan for a project of his/her own choosing and generate solution strategies for potential problems.
By the end of the seminar, you
- are able to apply the content discussed by establishing and formulating an EU project proposal.
- are able to formulate your improvement of competences for EU project management.
